Three populations;
(1) Sengambia, , s. Mali, and c. Ivory Coast, n. Ghana, n. and c. Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, n. and e. Zaire, c. and s. Sudan, Ethiopia, and w. Somalia, and s. outside rainforest zones to Angola, n. Namibia, n. Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and ne. South Africa (ne. Transvaal, Swaziland and ne. Natal).
(2) S. Uzbekistan, s. Tadjikistan, Afghanistan, n. Pakistan, India, sw. Nepal, Burma, n. Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and c. Vietnam (s. Annam).
