Coastal belt extending e. from ne. Western Australia at the Fitzroy River in the Kimberley district (Mitchell Falls and Manning Gorge) across n. Northern Territory (Kakadu National Park along Arnhem Highway), n. and e. Queensland (Iron Range National Park and Big Mitchell Creek) to ne. New South Wales.
