Restricted range;
Confined to the nw. coast of Madagascar (restricted to the 600km of coast between Antisiranana and Belo-sur-Mer, Antsalova and inland to Lake Bemamba and Lake Maudit in Montagne D'Ambre National Park including Mahavavy River delta) and sw. Madagascar (Mangoky River delta).
