Two widely separated populations;
(1) Sw. Western Australia (Dryandra State Forest, Gracetown, Narrogin) n. to Geraldton and e. to Israelite.
(2) Fragmented distribution: se. Australia (c. Murray River e. to Balranald and Swan Hill (formerly Echaca), s. to Wyperfeld and Jeparit (formerly s. Wimmera and Bordertown), w. to Karoonda and Waikerie (Formerly Keith, Murray Bridge and Mt. Mary Plains), n. to Gluepot Station Reserve, Canopus, Pooncarie and Arumpo, South Australia, nw. Victoria (Hattah-Kulkyne National Park and Wyperfield National Park) and sw. New South Wales).
