Range
E. to s. Central America and n. South America;
Two populations;
(1) Gulf and Caribbean slope of e. Mexico (San Luis Potosi and Tamaulipas), Belize (Guanacaste National Park), Houduras including Bay Is. to n. Nicaragua.
(2) Se. Nicaragua, both slopes of Costa Rica (La Selva Biological Station), Panama including Coiba Is. and Pearl Is. to w. Colombia.
(3) W. Ecuador and nw. Venezuela(?).
(4) An isolated population in nw. Amazonian Brazil between Rio Negro and Rio Solimoes.
